“Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” -MLK

Who I Am:

I am a Pensacola, FL native. In 2001 I moved to Gainesville, Fl to study at the University of Florida to obtain my B.S. and M.S. in the area of Family, Youth and Community Sciences with a concentration in Youth. In 2014 my family and I moved back to Pensacola, Fl and I decided to pursue my Masters in the area of Counseling and Psychology. In 2018 I started working at the local CAC (Gulf Coast Kids House) as a sexual/physical abuse therapist.

What I do:

Telling your story to someone often requires putting yourself in a vulnerable space. I am thankful to be given the opportunity to earn your trust and help you rewrite your story. Therapy works best when both the therapist and the client are prepared and willing to put in the work that it takes to create permanent change. When working with clients, I believe that the best approach is an integrative approach to therapy because it allows flexibility in the treatment and healing process. I have been privileged to meet and work with children, adolescents, couples and families in the areas of trauma, communication, spirituality, depression, anxiety, infidelity and other issues. I truly believe that this career chose me and that it is one of my greatest passions in life.
